We spend Memorial Day weekend at the Mt. LeConte Lodge in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Yay! The Mt. LeConte Lodge is only one tenth of a mile away. The predominant tree at this elevation, the Fraser Fir, is being destroy by a non-native insect pest, the balsam woolly adelgid.
